Note: (A Moving and Inspiring Tale) of a Transformed Life

The Note Issue 02 Image

Hey,

A quick hello from a freelancing world.

I am in what looked like a two days work, turning to weeks of tireless work.

Freelancing is hard work — I’ll be seeking help soon.

I’m going to leave you with an excellent article on work (in the hope that I finally catch up with mine).

— Joel

P.S. I have thought for a while what creativity is about I might include few articles on creativity in the upcoming issue.

1.

The Art of Asking: Or, How to Ask and Get What You Want.
My asking style is the one I learned from my father who never lifts a finger until he sees you’re asking from the point of strength. When asking for $70, I’ll remember to mention I have $22.7 of my own, so I need help with $46.3. He has almost always been generous giving more, but if you don’t ask, the answer is already no.

2.

The Risk Not Taken.
Andy Dunn wrote an article a few years back that I read every time I want to re-orient my perspective on life.

3.

Kimberly buried treasure.
It’s moving as it is inspiring. I get the same feeling no matter how many times I re-read it a fantastic reflection of a transformed life.

Quote

Never waste a minute thinking about people you don’t like.
