The (Only Reason Why You Can’t Succeed) With Vulnerability

I’m just as bad at being open as you’re.

If I didn’t wrestle with being vulnerable.

You wouldn’t trust me one bit.

But when it comes to sharing vulnerability, it’s wise to take the time to test.

Whether the other person is worthy of hearing your stories.

Yes to hide out, pretend, and armor up against vulnerability are killing us.

Killing our spirits, our hopes, our potential, our creativity, our ability to lead, our love, our faith, and our joy.

But I firmly believe to be vulnerable is only a good idea if the healing is tied to the sharing, not to the expectations.
